
Inner Beauty, Outer Radiance

What does staying young mean to you? Is staying young to you simply having no wrinkles and having a tight, toned body? Is it having energy like you had in your twenties? Is it having excellent health and no pain?
I believe staying young begins with what we think about and what we believe. Through the power of our thoughts and our beliefs, we can recognize and activate our inner beauty.
Do you say any of the following to yourself?
"I don't have time to take care of myself.""It's too hard to take great care of myself.""I can't change.""I don't know how to take better care of myself.""I'm not worthy of doing things for me.""I must take care of everybody else."
Well I can totally relate! I have had many of those same thoughts in my head in the past. In fact, I still sometimes use the "I don't have time to take care of myself" one!
But you know what, when I started attending Dani and Hans Johnson seminars, I started hearing how those thoughts were simply excuses! And because I have learned to recognize and reject these excuses, I am now much better equipped to put my focus on new discipline and new activation of my desires. In the end, we get to choose, "Am I going to stay where I'm at or am I going to make a new choice for attaining what makes me happy?'
So remember, whenever you hear yourself thinking you can't do something that would make your life better, ask yourself, "Is this just an excuse?" If your answer is yes, then you'll see you can make a new choice. Which way will you choose?
In closing, I wanted to tell you as I discussed in my earlier article, "I wish I could get better sleep!", that sometimes feeling and looking young can be as simple as getting good beauty sleep.
